PSA PROJECT
Help Wanted (Homeless PSA) 2 from Salas Sara on Vimeo. |
Help Wanted is about showing awareness of how people should help others. It can be about helping anyone, it doesn't always have to be helping a homeless teen. But for this video I wanted people to focus on helping Homeless people. These people should not be looked down upon. Try helping them for a change. You might even help them in a huge way. You can help by giving food, old clothes that no longer fit you or donating to certain sites that focus on helping them. I hope that people can understand the message that I was asserting.

Interview with Vincent Burkead
|
I had the most fortunate opportunity to interview Vincent Burkead a graphic designer and a studio owner. I inspire to become a graphic designer one day, but I still wonder if its a possibility for me. Who knows? One day I might do graphics as a side job. Thanks to Vincent for giving me knowledge on what kind of world he lives in. For giving me advice, for showing me that there is a possibility to have a career as a graphic designer. Thank you for letting see your work, and inspiring me to not let this small dream go to waste.
Vincent also has his own blog that is dedicated in helping and inspiring other creative junkies like himself. Here is Vincent's portfolio. Here you can find his website. Special thanks for my friend Rian Blake for helping me film. I couldn't have done it with out you. |
Senior Advice From the Class of 2015
Senior Advice from Sara Salas on Vimeo. |
My project proposal for this weeks video, was a senior advice video for the underclassmen. These includes Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. I hope that my friends advice help you during your Senior year. Remember to focus on yourself and to not lose track of your academics. Make your Senior year, your best year. I wish you luck on your journey.
I used A DSLR camera. This project took more than a week to get the filming done. I am aware that this video should have been only two minutes, but as the producer I didn't thik that by only having 3 or less students give advice is beneficial to the underclassmen. Besides by having more than 10 students give advice , underclassmen have the ability to apply all the advice that they were given. Everyone has a have different experience in high school so its good to hear from everyone who's willing to tell us about their experience. |
What's your favorite thing about Serra? |
